I love to talk to Jesus. It is not easy to talk to Jesus because we have a formal way of interacting with Him. I challenge you to talk to Him. Most of you have heard me say, sometimes do not pray, ‘talk’. Have conversations with Him. Make friends with Him.
Allow me to share just one of such conversations I have had. Whenever I ask the Lord something, an answer drops into my Spirit, and on like that it goes:
“Lord, what do you like to talk about?”
“What is written in the Word, my Word is what I like to talk about.”
“I like to talk about Grace.”
“Ok, tell me about Grace today.”
“It is my supernatural way of reaching out to a human being without them having to merit it.”
“Grace is love for the undeserving.”
“The working of my power through a human being is Grace.”
“Without Grace there was no way I could be able to save anyone.”
“Whenever you feel unworthy, think Grace. I still love you and my power will still work in you.”
“Lord will you show me scriptures about these?”
“All this that I am saying are scriptures, look it up.”
Let me say, I couldn’t wait to go and verify all these things in the Word. Because the way they came into my Spirit was not necessarily in ‘Bible’ language, and so I couldn’t immediately recognize what verse it was. I searched my Bible and I have Bible references for all these answers I got. What an amazing God we serve!
