The Bible tells us of our greatest friend, the Mighty One, the Holy Ghost. He is with us, will never leave us. And the Bible again tells us that this great friend knows the will of God for our lives. “No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit.” (1 Cor 2:11).
I find it to be so crucial that the Spirit of God knows the will of God for my life. Because there are times in my life when I do not know how I should pray for things. Or what I should pray concerning my future. It is at this point when our friend, the Mighty One, the Holy Ghost is irreplaceable. He knows what God wants for us. And He knows how we should pray for what we do not know. The Bible tells us that it is at this point that He comes and helps us to pray. He prays according to the will of God. My God!
Romans 8: 26-28 – this right here, is dangerous:
26 And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. 27 And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers[l] in harmony with God’s own will. 28 And we know that God causes everything to work together[m] for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
So in summary:
1. The Spirit of God knows what the will of God for your life is
2. The Spirit of God helps you to pray when you do not know how to pray for your future
3. And when He prays He prays according to the will of God
The result: All things work for your good.
So pray in the Spirit a lot, and watch everything turning around for your good.
Shalom.
